Where do I enter the Agoda promo code?
On the payment page during checkout you will find a “Promotion code” or “Discount code” field. Paste the code there and click “Apply” to see the discount reflected. If you cannot find the field, scroll down the page or click the “Use a coupon” link.
Why is my promo code not working?
The most common reasons are: 1) The minimum booking amount is not met (AGODADEAL8 requires a minimum spend that varies by region, e.g. NT$3,440 / ¥12,750); 2) The hotel is excluded — international chains such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG are often not eligible; 3) You selected a “Pay at the hotel” plan (most promo codes only work with “Pay now” plans); 4) The code has reached its usage limit.
How many times can I use an Agoda promo code?
It depends on the coupon. AGODADEAL5 and AGODADEAL8 can be used repeatedly, but with a usage cap that resets every 30 days. First-booking coupons can only be used once per account.
Can I use multiple coupons on one booking?
No — Agoda only allows one promo code per booking. Choose the code that saves you the most. However, promo codes can sometimes be combined with Agoda Coins (points).
If I cancel my booking, will the coupon be returned?
If you cancel within the free-cancellation window, the coupon is usually returned to your account. However, expired coupons and some limited coupons may not be returned.
Are coupon discounts different between the app and the website?
Agoda sometimes distributes app-only coupons, so booking on the app can be cheaper. If you are booking on the app for the first time, you can use the app-exclusive first-booking coupon (up to 10% off).
How do I use the credit card and Paidy discounts?
Discounts such as Mastercard (up to 15%), Saison / UC card (6%), and Paidy pay-later (up to 8%) are applied automatically at checkout when you pay with the eligible method — no promo code needed.
