How to Use

  • Show the coupon to the staff before paying. A screenshot is fine, as long as both barcodes are sharp and complete.
  • The coupon carries two barcodes, the count JAN and the automatic-discount JAN. Both must be scanned for the discount to apply, so show the whole coupon rather than just one code.
  • The rate follows the product category: 5% off medicines, cosmetics and daily necessities; 7% off cameras, watches, electronics and toys; 3% off Japanese sake other than Dassai and Hakkaisan.
  • The coupon works only on a tax-free purchase, and the total after the coupon discount must reach ¥5,000.
  • Alcohol has to be rung up as a separate transaction.
  • Refund flow: pay the tax-included price in store → scan the QR code on your receipt → register your refund method → at the airport, clear the customs kiosk check (green means go, red means an inspection) → receive the refund, up to 10%.

Why does the cashier scan the coupon twice?
The coupon carries two barcodes: the count JAN, which records the use, and the automatic-discount JAN, which actually applies the discount. Both have to be scanned — miss one and no discount comes off — so make sure the staff can see the whole coupon.
Is the tax taken off at the register, or refunded later?
Refunded later. You pay the tax-included price in store, scan the QR code on your receipt, register a refund method, and then clear the customs kiosk check at the airport — green to go through, red for an inspection. The refund of up to 10% follows once you pass.
Is the ¥5,000 minimum before or after the coupon discount?
After. The coupon states that the purchase amount after applying the coupon must be ¥5,000 or more, so judge it on the discounted total.
Which products are excluded from the coupon discount?
Genuine Apple products, certain imported watches, and some SEIKO, Panasonic and FUJIFILM products, plus game consoles, genuine manufacturer accessories, video game software, PlayStation VR, Meta Quest, DJI products, outlet items and pre-owned items.
Does sake get a discount too?

Can I combine it with another promotion or a card offer?
